    Brief Bio

    During undergrad, Matthew gained hands-on experience as an electrical engineer co-op at two different manufacturing plants. These early roles sparked his passion for innovation and intellectual property. After obtaining his law degree, Matthew began his legal career at a boutique IP firm in Tiffin, Ohio, before joining MST in Toledo, Ohio. Matthew currently serves as president of the Toledo Bar IP Society and volunteers at the Toledo Library, educating inventors on intellectual property law.


    Personal Statement

    In his free time, Matthew enjoys restoring vintage electronics, watching professional wrestling, and exploring Toledo’s Metroparks. He married his best friend at the Wildwood Preserve Metropark. As a devoted film enthusiast, his favorite directors include Akira Kurosawa, Sammo Hung, Quentin Tarantino, George Miller, and Sergio Leone.
